Büchi manufactures cutting edge equipment used all around the world in food, pharmaceutical, and other specialised laboratories. We took a deep dive into their chemical processes, borrowing from the scientific visual language and applying abstracted physical simulations to shine a new light on the beauty of their work. This evolved into a series that takes an artistic perspective on chemical processes used to make our everyday products.

Spray drying is a method to dry liquid substances. During the process, a spray dryer atomizes a liquid feed into fine droplets and evaporates the organic solvent with a hot drying gas.
